Service Description
This is the image we will be painting in this class, a Jaguar with a butterfly on it's nose. This is the first project in Acrylic paints that will be followed by a series of images that we draw and colour with watercolor pencil crayons and paints. In this 6-week series, children will explore a range of creative techniques and materials including needle felting, drawing, watercolour pencils, and painting. Students will learn about colour theory, brush types, washes, and layering techniques, while building confidence and creative skills through hands-on practice. The series includes step-by-step instruction to guide children through the creation of a realistic needle felted sculpture, where they’ll learn foundational needle felting methods and how to shape their own imaginative creatures. This class is designed to support artistic growth in a fun, relaxed environment, with plenty of opportunity for personal expression and exploration. Location: Classes are held at our new studio: 1491 McPhee Avenue, Unit 1 (across from Courtenay Elementary). Parking is available inside the gated area. Registration Notes: When registering, you’ll be asked to select the first class date only; registration includes the full 6-week series. Payment can be made online, or via e-transfer to alicia@artadventures.ca by selecting the manual payment option at checkout.

Cancellation Policy
Class Series Policy Please review the following policies before registering: Deposits & Cancellations A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your child’s spot in the class series. If you need to cancel, you may do so up to 7 days before the start date of the series for a refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the series begins are not eligible for a refund. Missed Classes Missed classes will not be refunded or rescheduled. This includes absences due to illness, travel, or other personal reasons. Your registration reserves a space in a limited-enrollment class, and we cannot offer make-up sessions. Photography Photographs of children and their artwork may be taken during class and used for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please notify us at the time of registration so we can accommodate your request. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us create a consistent, creative, and respectful environment for all.
