This is a brand new offering- a series that will be focused on Drawing instead of Painting (there will be no canvas painting) The exciting news about this series is that in the first portion of the class we will produce a new image every week! A new creature, environment or animal will be drawn using step-by-step instructions and then we will color the images using a variety of different mediums from week to week including: watercolor pencil crayons, watercolor paints, chalk pastels, felts and pencil crayons. I will be teaching techniques for using all these mediums to color. During the free time portion of the class, children may choose to do their own acrylic paintings, drawings, and other projects as well as needle felting and sculpture 3d projects. ​ Join us in the art adventure of a life time! **Location change: Please note that Art Adventures is moving to a new and exciting location! Classes will be held at 1491 Mcphee, unit 1 across the street from Courtenay Elementary.
