Service Description
This is a special camp where Art Adventures and Axe Capoeira are coming together for double the fun!! That's right the kids will be doing half a day of art with Alicia Lumb at Art Adventures, and half a day of Capoeira with Alicia Fennell outdoors in a park. We will walk to and from the park from the studio together. The art theme will be animals of Brazilian rain forest. Capoeira will keep your kids super active and inspired with games, fitness challenges and martial arts movements as well as music, language and cultural lessons. All activities are outdoor and game/challenge based and incorporate dance, acrobatics and cooperation! Instrutora Onça has had over 22 years experience in the art form and has been teaching in Comox Valley for 14 years. About the art Camp: In these 4 day summer camps kids will work on a variety of different projects everyday using mediums like acrylics, watercolour, needle-felting, sculpture, mixed media, and more. Kids will take home good quality art projects that they feel proud of. A variety of other activates like storytelling circles, drawing games, hula hooping and a walk to the air park are also a part of the day. We may also work on some outdoor art projects depending on the weather. Price includes GST
