~supplies are included, cost of this class is higher due to the amt of paint/supplies required for mixing and experimentation~ People have been asking me all about colour theory and how I make the colour choices for paintings, like how to choose the under painting colour and all the varied colours within. SO I have decided to put together a special series that’s a little different from what I have been doing at Art Adventures, instead of producing final pieces of work on canvas this class will be about practising colour choices and applying basic colour theory principles in order to create your own images at home. This is about feeling confidant in your ability to choose colours or at least beginning to form an understanding of colour theory. Colour theory knowledge and application is something that is traditionally cultivated through years of experience and schooling. However, there are some basic principles that can be taught and applied in a shorter series like this one. I will be teaching some theory through demonstration and then you will apply what I’ve shown in your own small painting sketches on paper. You will practice choosing colours and mixing them to create pallets for your own work and I will be there to guide you through the process. This is a series designed to teach you how to create your own works of art at home from scratch, knowing how to choose out the colours that will create rich images. .
