Service Description

Come and learn some foundational skills for how to paint portraits. Learn colour application and how to create lighting, shape and form to your faces using grey tones and gelling techniques to blend and layer. In this series we will re-create this one image of the girl and lion on stretched canvas working from the same image together and following along step-by-step in order to break down the process and go through the motions together. Then you can take these skills home and apply it to your own portraits of your choice. You will be provided with a line drawing so that you don't have to worry about the proportions of the face being there and can focus on painting techniques. All supplies are included for this class. This listing allows you to pick only the fist day of the series but the cost and booking includes the full 5 weeks You can pay online or by e transfer to alicia@artadventures.ca just choose manual payment option These classes are listed as adult/teen and usually get about a 50-50 ratio of attendance
