Come learn how to create movement through your images like Van gogh and Emily carr while making the skies dance above the watery scenes of our local area. In this series we will be exploring colour application, colour theory, mark making and how it applies to painting landscapes. The process of recreating images from the Masters gives us a subject to work from that makes it simpler to learn about how to dissect and break down the painting process into parts that make it easier to understand and apply to our own art. Art is a meditation and healing practice and while we come together to paint we can find healing and relaxation through the application. This is also a great opportunity for teens and adults to create community and come out and have fun together.
