Magic & Mystery is a special camp designed for teens who are ready to explore their inner wisdom, connect with symbolic guidance, and express their experiences through powerful and meaningful art. In this camp, I will guide students on a gentle drum journey—a calming, meditative experience that invites them to explore their inner landscapes. Through this journey to the symbolic “underworld,” campers will meet their animal guide, receive messages, and discover magical objects or symbols connected to their strengths and personal path. This is an introspective, imagination-driven process that supports self-awareness, emotional grounding, and creative inspiration. We will not be creating the image I chose to display here, instead each person will create their own painting of their own unique spirit realm and creatures with my guidance. From these personal visions, campers will create expressive paintings of their sacred spaces, the realms they visited, and the power animals they met there. These artworks become beautiful and meaningful reflections of their inner world. We’ll also bring our magic into the physical realm by crafting wands and crystal jewelry using stones chosen specifically for this camp. Teens will learn how to work with materials like wire, beads, crystals, wood, and mixed media to create personal talismans filled with intention and symbolic meaning. Throughout the week, students will explore creativity in many forms—painting, mixed media, storytelling, intuitive art, and meaningful craftwork. This camp is a safe space for teens to express themselves, develop confidence, deepen their imagination, and connect with a sense of mystery and personal magic. A supportive, mindful environment encourages teens to move at their own pace, share only what they want to, and enjoy the journey of discovering the magic within. A deposit will be taken now and the remaining amount will be paid online through a link prior to the course, or can be paid by email money transfer to alicia@artadventures.ca My booking system will only show the first day of the camp on the calendar; however, the price of 233 includes all 4 days and all supplies.
