The forest is calling! This magical Spring Break camp is all about the charming and mysterious animals that live beneath the trees. From foxes and owls to hedgehogs, deer, mice, and mythical forest sprites, this camp will be full of earthy creativity and woodland wonder. For our main painting project, we will be recreating a beautiful image of a woodland creatures seen here. I also have a special treat planned for this camp: each child will receive their own tiny woodland creature figurine. Their big creative project will be to design and build a cozy mini habitat for their creature using fabrics, clay, cardboard, mossy textures, and mixed media. Kids will get to imagine their creature’s home deep in the forest and create it with their own hands. In this 4-day Spring Break camp, kids will work on a variety of different projects every day using mediums like acrylics, watercolour, needle-felting, sculpture, mixed media, and more. Children will take home good-quality art projects they feel proud of. A variety of other activities like storytelling circles, drawing games, hula hooping, and a walk to the park at Courtenay Elementary will also be part of the day. We may also work on some outdoor art projects depending on the weather. A deposit will be taken now and the remaining amount will be paid online through a link prior to the course, or can be paid by email money transfer to alicia@artadventures.ca My booking system will only show the first day of the camp on the calendar; however, the price of 233 includes all 4 days and all supplies.
